Whilst searching for clutch bags online I came across some of the most fantastical and fun clutches I have ever seen. I am most definitely in love. For any avid readers out there I am in no doubt that you will also be coveting one of Kate Spade’s novel clutch bags.
From A Tale of Two Cities to The Importance of Being Ernest there are currently five different classic novels to choose from which all retail at $325 (around £212), which for a great quality item I don’t think is such a bad price. My personal favourite has got to be Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet which features the classic quote ‘What’s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet’ and a great pink and red graphic front cover.
There are also some great high street homages, including this lime clutch from ASOS which is currently in the sale down from £25 to just £15, which at around a £200 saving on the Kate Spade bag is not to be scoffed at!
Styling wise, I think the key to this look is to keep the rest of your outfit simple and let the bag do the talking as without doubt it will be the stand out piece of any Friday night outfit.
Have you found any other great novel clutches, I’d love to hear where from and how you style them!
